Last Call Rescue

The Southern California Bartending School is proud to announce our Rescue Project “Last Call.” Last Call Rescue was founded by SCBS Owner Laura Milham and operates as a government approved 501c3 Nonprofit organization. Our mission statement simple: saving Euth. listed dogs from local High Kill shelters.

Our strategy is finding temporary homes for urgent dogs, community outreach and education and fundraising. We operate the Foster Me program which recruits and pre-screens fosters for dogs who on their 11th hour and at risk of being put to sleep at any time. Fostering a dog from a shelter is temporary and free. To apply to foster a dog, you must live in CA, WA, NV or OR and fill out the application here:

Last Call” happens every 13 seconds in the United States for innocent and unwanted animal stuck in a kill shelter. These animals are usually killed for only one reason: not enough space in the shelter. We are promoting rescue efforts and awareness and intend to erase as many lives as we can from that statistic. Bartending fills our pockets and saving lives fills our soul. Please check out our facebook page to follow our journey, join our mission and share our vision: https://www.facebook.com/lastcallrescue
